Charles H. Kinnear II, better known as Charlie, has one of the most unique and in-depth backgrounds in the maritime industry.  He joined the US Coast Guard in 1980, and his career now encompasses a wide range of experiences.  In the first eighteen years, he conducted search and rescue operations as well as law enforcement activities.  Charlie has been in management and leadership roles for nearly his entire diverse and far-reaching career.  He has played a crucial role in successfully starting two cruise lines and a cargo line and served as President for all three.  He has used his considerable experience and leadership skills to successfully operate his own companies assisting the Maritime Industry in a multitude of disciplines.

George has been a major influence in the Maritime Industry for decades. As the Chief of Vessel Inspection and School Chief for the US Coast Guard Center of Excellence, his leadership and decisions were far-reaching and served as a positive inspiration for many. As a Principle Surveyor and Lead Instructor for DNV, he continued to earn the respect and admiration of leaders at the highest levels of the industry. In 2014 his influence and experience played a vital role in bringing the M/V Grand Celebration into US service in an unprecedented 45 days. Now with RMS, George is ready to put his experience, knowledge, and influence to work for you.

  Dave retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 31 years of distinguished active duty service.  During his career with the Coast Guard, he served in a variety of demanding leadership positions, from the Chief Engineer of one of the Coast Guards most technologically advanced Cutters to one of the Coast Guards most senior Marine Inspectors.  He has conducted a wide range of regulatory compliance inspections and investigations on hundreds of commercial vessels and offshore installations throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Gulf of Mexico.​

2015 - Present:  Lead Compliance Surveyor for RMS.

2016 - Present: Environment Auditor for ABSG and RMS

 Brian has a proven regulatory background in marine and environmental safety as well as port security and environmental response.  His Coast Guard experience spanned assignments across the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East where he promoted safety through Flag State inspections and investigations. He further managed national-level initiatives as a Headquarters Program Manager.  In his post-Coast Guard career, he has supported regulatory goals for companies ranging from Ro-Pax start-ups to century-old freight institutions as well as para-public Port Authorities.  As a network partner, Brian is ready to help support your next challenge.
